Nominate your school or organisation to win a Sensory Shell Chair

We believe access to the right assistive equipment can have a huge impact. So we're giving away one Sensory Shell Chair to a school or organisation where people can benefit from it and inviting you to tell us about their sensory equipment needs and the difference the right equipment could make.

To enter, simply complete our short survey by clicking the button below.

Entry is free and limited to one entry per person. Entry is open to any adult aged 18 or over. Entrants must nominate one eligible UK organisation who will receive the prize if their entry is selected to win. One winner will be chosen at random and their nominated organisation will receive one Sensory Shell Chair (a plywood rocking chair with fabric hood and cushion).

The prize draw closes at midday on Monday 30th November, UK time. Entries received after the closing date will not be included.

5. The prize

There is one prize: one Sensory Shell Chair with fabric hood and removable cushion. The current retail value is £2100. The model may vary from that currently advertised for sale on DEMAND’s website.

The prize includes delivery to one UK address, but does not include assembly of the Sensory Shell Chair, ongoing repairs or spare parts. DEMAND’s standard 12 month manufacturer’s warranty applies. The Sensory Shell Chair can be safely assembled by competent adults.

The prize is subject to the delivery restrictions stated above. The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.

6. Winner selection

The draw will take place on or around 30th November 2026.

The Promoter will retain an appropriate record of the selection process.

7. Contacting the winner

The winner will be contacted using the email address provided in their entry within 7 days of the draw.

The winner must respond within 14 days of the notification email and provide any information reasonably required to verify eligibility and arrange delivery.

If the winner is ineligible, cannot be contacted after reasonable attempts (such as at least two attempts using the email address supplied), does not respond within the stated period, or their nominated organisation does not meet the entry criteria or declines to receive the prize, the Promoter may select a replacement winner using the same random selection process.

8. Awarding the prize

The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to award the prize as described. Delivery arrangements will be agreed with the winner and must comply with the stated delivery restrictions.

The Promoter will not substitute the prize or make material changes to the promotion except where reasonably necessary and permitted by law.

9. Publicity and winner information

The Promoter will handle winner information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection requirements.

The Promoter intends to publish or make available information confirming that a valid prize award has taken place. This will ordinarily include the name of the winning organisation and county.

Entrants may object to the publication of their personal information or request that less information be published or made available by contacting info@demand.org.uk before the draw takes place.

Where an entrant objects or requests that less information be published, the Promoter will respect that request where possible, while retaining the information needed to demonstrate that the promotion was properly administered and providing it to authorities if required.

10. Personal information

Personal information submitted with an entry will be used to administer the draw, verify entries, contact the winner and arrange delivery. Survey responses will be used for the stated research purpose.

Marketing communications are optional and require a separate choice where consent is relied upon. Choosing not to receive marketing will not affect eligibility.

Survey responses will help DEMAND understand sensory-equipment needs in schools and similar organisations and inform our future work. Survey responses may be analysed and reported in anonymised or aggregated form.

Further information is available in the Made by DEMAND Privacy Policy.

11. General

The Promoter may disqualify entries that breach these terms or involve fraud or attempted manipulation.

The Promoter is not responsible for entries that fail to arrive because of technical problems beyond its reasonable control, although it will take reasonable steps to administer the promotion fairly.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

These terms and the promotion are governed by the law of England and Wales.
